What would you do as our MIG Welder

The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding seaming and grinding steel doors and frames.

You would also:

• Read manufacturing drawings.
• Operate MIG welders; grinders; buffers; shears; OBI punches saws
• Grind and / or sand/buff doors and /or frames to prepare them for painting
• Apply and finish body filler compound
• Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating or warping of the metal
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet standards
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

The Skills and Experience you need:

• 2 years of recent MIG welding experience
• Ability to read manufacturing or shop drawings and a tape measure
• Previous working knowledge or desire to learn hand tools and hardware
• Strong attention to detail to produce high-quality welds
• Ability to stand regularly and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay rate is $23.80 - $25.87 per hour depending on experience.
