The Data Center Maintenance & Tooling team works with the hundreds of AWS data centers around the globe to deliver the highest quality and lowest cost physical security availability capacity and scaling results for our customers. Our aim is to standardize operations globally by delivering tools policy processes and procedures to our internal teams. The team is seeking a Technical Program Manger to solve innovative problems via business process and technology innovations. They will be a highly visible leader that will own the communication coordination and execution of a multi-year program vision. Our mission is to provide critical data to operators and engineers that enables them to make informed decisions for maintenance of data center facilities.

Our team of TPMs work with senior product and engineering leaders to define strategy and requirements. They design coordinate and execute technical solutions that scale globally. Managing numerous complex systems and organizations they are expected to make appropriate trade-offs between business vs. technical constraints clearly communicate goals roles and responsibilities. They also identify opportunities to converge overlapping technical efforts and drive the long term strategy.

Create maintain and disseminate program information to stakeholders

A day in the life
In this role you will own the development and implementation of global standards for liquid cooling systems across AWS Data Centers. As liquid cooling technology scales rapidly across the fleet you will define global serviceability requirements including maintenance spares training and certification requirements. You will coordinate with Field Engineering and product teams and drive operational readiness for new liquid cooling deployments to ensure liquid cooling infrastructure is maintained safely and reliably at global scale.

- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of analytical quantitative communication and presentations experience

- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- 5 years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers power generation or oil and gas facilities experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
