Job Summary
The Opportunity
You will manage a complex portfolio of approximately 5000 SKUs across multiple leading brands owning the full product lifecyclefrom product selection and launch through to replenishment and phase-out. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts sales performance inventory health and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Category & Assortment Management:
- Own end-to-end lifecycle management of assigned professional and consumer photo and video image equipment categories
- Identify and onboard new products aligned with market trends and customer demand
- Optimize product assortment to drive sales margin and inventory efficiency
Demand Planning & Forecasting:
- Using our procurement software. analyze and maintain demand forecasts using historical seasonal and promotional data
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing and vendors to improve demand planning and accuracy
- Monitor trends and adjust forecasts to support business objectives
Inventory Optimization & Replenishment:
- Manage inventory levels and Month-on-Hand (MOH) targets across all SKUs
- Ensure high in-stock rates while minimizing excess and aged inventory
- Identify and action slow-moving or underperforming products
Vendor & Supply Chain Management:
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Manage purchase orders pricing and delivery timelines (ETAs)
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth product flow
Data Systems & Execution:
- Responsible for the coordination of accurate product data pricing and forecasting inputs
- Leverage analytics to inform purchasing decisions
- Continuously improve processes

Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Experience in demand planning and buying
- Proactive/Self-motivated ERP and planning system proficiency
- Agility and flexibility working in a changing technology-based product knowledge market
- Business acumen and vendor management skills
- Strategic and hands-on capability
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in buying or demand planning
- Experience managing large SKU portfolios
- Product lifecycle management knowledge
- Retail or e-commerce experience
Nice to Have
- Experience with professional and consumer Photo and Video imaging products
- Purchasing in a retail environment experience
- Netstock software familiarity
- Advanced Excel skills
