About This Opportunity:
Our pork processing plant in Brandon is currently seeking an enthusiastic motivated and energetic individual to join Canada Packers Maintenance Team. Get a fresh start with Canada Packers Brandon.

Responsibilities:
Install maintain test troubleshoot and repair:
Electrical equipment (AC Drives power controls circuits starters MCCs).
Microprocessor based systems (PLCs DCS Electronic circuits controls).
Low and medium voltage distribution systems (single and three phase systems).
Instrumentation (pneumatic controls PID transducers servos analog/digital signals).
Power distribution and generation (generators transformers switchgears breakers).
Communication and Data Systems (closed circuit TV timekeeping phone/computer Network).
HVAC emergency systems (boilers refrigeration air compressors energy control alarm) Scales calibrations Metal detector calibrations Xray calibrations.
Conduct Planned Preventive and Predictive Maintenance and keep maintenance records.
Recommend and implement corrective action and required repairs.
Assist in planning and organization of work activities (drawing interpretation parts preparation).
Skills & Experience:
447 A- Instrumentation and Control Technician Certificate required
Minimum three (3) years experience in a highly automated industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical instrumentation automation pneumatics experience required.
Medium Voltage Weigh Scales Vision Systems HMI Siemens S5/S7 Allen Bradley SLC5 PLC VFD Servomotors Profibus / Ethernet Network Communications experience essential.
Strong decision making problem solving troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a multifunctional team with minimum supervision.
Environmental work conditions can range from a cool environment to one that is hot and wet.
Will be required to work outdoors in all seasons.
