Description of Work
The Domestic Marketing Section helps North Carolinas producers processors and agribusinesses grow by identifying developing and expanding markets for homegrown agricultural products. Through targeted market research strategic marketing initiatives buyer outreach promotions and consumer education the team drives demand and elevates North Carolina agriculture. Using digital print broadcast and outdoor channels the section strengthens the states largest industry and delivers meaningful economic impact.The Commodity Marketing Specialist III leads high impact marketing programs that promote North Carolina commodities across local regional national and emerging international markets. This role drives strategy manages full program lifecycles and serves as the primary liaison for commodity groups and industry partners. This role oversees consumer and B2B marketing mentor specialists and sets clear goals and performance standards to ensure strong program results.
A valid Drivers License is required for this position.

Bachelors degree in marketing business administration crop science animal science horticulture home economics or related area of assignment from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in the related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.EEO Statement
