Location/Division Specific Information:
Within the Pharma Services Group (PSG) the High Point NC location specializes in gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). Our expertise lies in the development and production of various softgel technologies.
We have both Day and Night shifts available:
Days: 7am-7pm - rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Nights: 7pm-7am - rotating 2-2-3 schedule; w/ 10% added night shift differential
How will you make an impact:
The Formulation Technician I will have a crucial part in our Formulation Department by strictly adhering to proven processes to ensure flawless product development. You will collaborate with world-class teams to successfully implement ambitious projects that drive our mission forward.
A Day in the Life:
Prepare formulations and solutions following detailed protocols and SOPs.
Operate and maintain formulation equipment ensuring efficient performance and safety.
Conduct in-process testing and sampling to determine product quality.
Document all activities and results in compliance with cGMP standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any formulation issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety guidelines.
Assist in the development and optimization of new formulations.
Engage in training sessions to remain up-to-date on standard processes and advancements in technology.
Qualifications:
*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
*Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check to include drug screening.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
No work experience required
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Ability to follow complex instructions with precision.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team setting.
Basic understanding of mathematical concepts and reasoning skills.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Must have the ability to regularly lift push pull or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds
Adherence to all GMP Safety Standards
Cleanroom: no hair products jewelry makeup nail polish perfume exposed piercings facial hair etc. allowed
Loud noises(equipment/machinery)
Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.)
Standing for full shift
