Job Summary

Assistant Vice President DAS / InBuilding Wireless & Venue Connectivity

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of DAS / InBuilding Wireless leads the strategic planning engineering implementation execution business development budget and lifecycle management of inbuilding neutralhost connectivity solutions. This role is accountable for the successful access of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) inbuilding wireless small cells and WiFi ensuring both owned and leased solutions meet performance economic regulatory and operational standards and market and business needs at viable cost structures.

The AVP develops longterm strategy directs large teams and plays a significant role in crossfunctional initiatives that support AT&Ts network modernization 5G coverage and customer experience objectives.

This position is based in Dallas TX and requires inoffice 5 days a week. Relocation support provided for well-qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Network Strategy Planning & Execution

  • Lead the In-Building business development management team responsible for negotiation and contract execution for new and existing In-Building solutions.
  • Business Case Development and Strategy for In-Building solutions including should-cost analysis creation of alternative models and In-Building RFP
  • Leading and participating in In-Building RFP processes including the evaluation and execution of proposals and collaborate with in-building strategy procurement legal and technical teams to ensure compliance and optimal selection of vendors and partners
  • Engage with key 3rd Party partners and Carriers to re-negotiate and update Master Agreements (MLAs) that better reflect AT&Ts legal and business term requirements per In-Building strategy.
  • Manage and optimize revenue streams associated with Neutral Host Tenant Adds (NHTA) develop pricing strategies and revenue models to maximize profitability and analyze financial performance to implement corrective actions as necessary
  • Coordinate with Verizon and T-Mobile on venues for Teaming Agreements and for carrier-owned venues.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize operational expenditures conduct regular reviews and audits of the existing portfolio to ensure efficiency and effectiveness related to traffic subscribers costs and enterprise revenue
  • Develop and implement tiered strategies to segment and prioritize in-building investments assess and categorize buildings based on strategic importance potential revenue and cost factors and create tailored investment plans for different tiers to maximize returns
  • Implement and enhance reporting controls and processes to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
  • Develop and execute a multiyear roadmap aligned with network modernization and capacity goals.

Stakeholder Coordination & Commercial In-Building Leadership

  • Serve as the senior business and operational interface across engineering construction real estate finance legal vendors and external partners.
  • Manage vendor selection integration and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership to optimize system performance and network scalability.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Direct and develop large teams including managers and senior staff.
  • Responsible for hiring coaching performance management promotions and compensation decisions.
  • Build a culture of accountability technical excellence and disciplined execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree (BS/BA) preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in DAS inbuilding wireless small cells neutralhost or related wireless infrastructure.
  • Proven experience leading endtoend network or infrastructure programs from planning through execution and lifecycle management.
  • Robust negotiation and vendor management experience
  • Strong understanding of wireless engineering fundamentals (RAN radios antennas spectrum).
  • Demonstrated experience with budget ownership financial modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams in complex matrixed environments.
  • Strong communication leadership and stakeholder management skills.
