About the role
We are looking for a skilled Shipping Coordinator to join an exciting assignment within the automotive this role you will play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient transport flows across Europe. You will manage shipments by road and sea coordinate bookings and handle deviations with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Key responsibilities
You will perform daily follow-up of transport flows and manage deviations.
You will handle urgent transport requests and bookings.
You will coordinate transport bookings for deliveries.
You will follow up with carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
You will establish and execute emergency transport plans.
You will manage all transports related to the Eskilstuna site.
You will ensure on-time delivery from production sites across Europe.
You will handle transport documentation and customs processes.

Requirements
- 25 years of relevant experience in logistics or transport coordination.
- Practical knowledge gained through education and work experience.
- You are able to work independently with general supervision.
- Experience handling transport flows bookings and deviations.
- You are comfortable managing road and sea transport operations.
- Knowledge of documentation and customs processes.
- You communicate clearly and can influence stakeholders through facts and practices.
- Fluency in English both spoken and written.
