Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to help evolve and operate our cloud platform as we scale product delivery across teams.

Our platform is built on AWS Kubernetes (EKS) and managed cloud services with a strong focus on security reliability and observability by default. Product teams own their services end-to-end and the Platform team enables this through tooling infrastructure and guardrails.

This is an infrastructure-focused role with an enablement mindset. Youll work across multiple teams and services influencing reliability security and platform practices beyond a single domain.

Your tasks

• Evolve the reliability and operational foundations of our AWS-based platform
• Improve observability alerting and incident response practices
• Build tooling and guardrails that enable teams to deploy and operate services independently
• Improve security access control and network foundations across the platform
• Partner with engineering teams to reduce operational risk and improve system reliability

Requirements

• Several years of experience in SRE Platform Engineering DevOps or Infrastructure-focused Software Engineering in production environments
• Strong experience operating production systems on AWS including networking IAM and managed services as well as familiarity with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS or similar)
• Solid understanding of Linux networking and cloud-native systems
• Experience with observability tooling and operational best practices
• Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g. Go Python Java Kotlin TypeScript)
• A pragmatic mindset focused on enablement automation and long-term reliability
