Title: Contract Sourcing Recruiter (Technical Recruiting)
Location: Irvine CA 92614
Shift: Standard Shift Mon - Fri
Duration: 6 Months Contract with possible extensions
XXXX: Up to $40.00 - $45.00/hr. on w2.
Position Overview
Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Contract Sourcing Recruiter with strong experience in high-volume technical sourcing and top-of-funnel talent generation within fast-paced technology environments.
This role is heavily focused on active sourcing pipeline generation candidate outreach and rapid submittals for technical positions. The ideal candidate will be a true technical sourcer with proven experience building pipelines of qualified technical talent across Software Engineering Cloud Infrastructure Data Engineering AI/GenAI and related technology domains.
The recruiter will focus primarily on sourcing activities rather than stakeholder management and should be comfortable generating 15 20 qualified candidates per week after ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sourcing & Pipeline Generation
- Proactively source and identify qualified technical candidates through:
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- GitHub
- Technical communities
- Job boards
- Networking platforms
- Boolean search strategies
- Build and maintain a high-volume top-of-funnel pipeline for technical hiring initiatives
- Generate consistent candidate flow with a target of 15 20 qualified candidates per week after onboarding
- Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to engage passive technical talent
- Continuously refine sourcing strategies to improve speed quality and candidate conversion rates
Candidate Engagement & Screening
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and qualification conversations
- Administer and coordinate online technical assessments
- Evaluate candidate alignment with technical requirements experience and hiring priorities
- Build short-term candidate relationships to support immediate hiring needs and rapid submissions
- Maintain consistent follow-up and communication throughout the sourcing process
Recruiting Operations & Collaboration
- Manage multiple technical requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Utilize ATS platforms and recruiting tools to track candidate activity and pipeline progress
- Partner closely with recruiting and talent acquisition teams to support hiring goals
- Maintain accurate candidate documentation and sourcing metrics
- Support recruiting process improvements and sourcing automation initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 2 3 years of experience in:
- Technical sourcing
- Technical recruiting
- Talent acquisition
- Proven experience supporting high-volume technical recruiting environments
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets and roles including:
- Software Engineers
- Cloud Engineers/Architects
- Data Engineers
- DevOps Engineers
- GenAI/AI Engineers
- Infrastructure Engineers
- Hands-on experience with:
- LinkedIn Recruiter
- Boolean search techniques
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong sourcing and pipeline generation capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced rapidly changing environments
