Job Summary
InfraHire is looking for an CNC operator in Piscataway NJ.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Biesse CNC machines strong cabinet-making knowledge and the ability to support both machine operation and general fabrication work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Program set up operate and maintain Biesse 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
- Operate and maintain laser cutting equipment
- Read and interpret drawings production files and project specifications
- Perform CNC cutting routing engraving and related machining work
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make machine adjustments as needed
- Assist with cabinet-making bench fabrication assembly and exhibit preparation
- Work closely with design account management and production teams to complete projects accurately and on schedule
- Inspect finished parts for quality accuracy and consistency
- Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
- Work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating Biesse CNC machines required
- Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining
- Cabinet-making millwork woodworking or custom fabrication experience
- Ability to read shop drawings and follow production specifications
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Self-motivated reliable and quality-focused
Preferred Experience
- Experience with laser cutting equipment
- Experience in custom exhibits trade show displays scenic fabrication or architectural millwork
- Hands-on assembly or bench fabrication experience
