Key Responsibilities:

• Draft review and negotiate commercial real estate agreements leases financing and closing documents
• Manage zoning approvals land use applications variances and municipal entitlements
• Work closely with planning boards zoning authorities and government agencies
• Conduct legal due diligence including title reviews environmental considerations and compliance checks
• Ensure projects meet all local state and federal legal requirements
• Support dispute resolution tax appeals and litigation matters alongside external counsel
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal strategy related to development opportunities

The Person

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Licensed attorney in good standing
• 7-10 years of commercial real estate land use and zoning experience
• Strong background in contract negotiation and property transactions
• Proven success securing variances zoning approvals and entitlements
• Excellent communication negotiation and legal research skills
• Experience with developers and municipal agencies
