Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom OSS/BSS Principal Consultant with strong expertise in network inventory management and BPI systems. The ideal candidate will act as a BPI Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting production environments ensuring data accuracy and stabilizing network inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a BPI User SME supporting Lumen production inventory
- Build validate correct and maintain network inventory directly in BPI
- Identify and resolve inventory gaps inconsistencies and errors
- Perform inventory cleanup and production stabilization activities
- Ensure BPI inventory accurately reflects real-world network connectivity
- Collaborate with business and operations teams during production rollout
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for inventory-related issues
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Telecommunications domain experience (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with Ethernet / Metro Ethernet (Metro 1 Metro 2 Metro 3)
- Proven experience in:
- Building and maintaining network inventory systems
- Validating and correcting inventory data
- Experience working with BPI (Business Process Inventory) systems
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and fix data inconsistencies
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with inventory tools such as:
- Amdocs ASRI
- PRO (inventory systems)
- Prior experience in production support environments
