Summary
A Data Analyst is responsible for collecting processing and analyzing large datasets to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role transforms raw data into meaningful insights through reports dashboards and visualizations that enable stakeholders to understand trends performance and business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Collect clean validate and prepare data from multiple internal and external sources.
Analyze datasets to identify trends patterns correlations and anomalies.
Develop interactive dashboards reports and visualizations for business stakeholders.
Collaborate with business users to define metrics KPIs and reporting requirements.
Perform statistical analysis forecasting and basic modeling to support decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy integrity and security across reporting and analytics processes.
Document data definitions methodologies workflows and reporting logic.
Translate complex analytical results into clear actionable insights and recommendations.
Maintain enhance and optimize data visualization tools and reporting platforms.
Support ad-hoc reporting requests and executive-level analytics.
Validate data sources and reconcile discrepancies between systems.
Participate in data governance initiatives and promote best practices in data usage.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality automation and reporting efficiency.
Work with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and performance analysis.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
Proficiency in SQL Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with structured datasets and relational databases.
Preferred Skills / Duties
Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis automation and statistical modeling.
Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop Spark or cloud-based analytics tools.
Ability to translate business requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
