Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation
Ensure high standards of food quality safety and cleanliness
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
Monitor kitchen operations and assist in managing food costs
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
Implement and maintain health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Requirements
Associate degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Creativity and passion for food and culinary trends
Flexibility to work various shifts excluding late hours
