Located in Melbournes eastern suburbs we are a unique medium-sized girls school with three separate campuses in Canterbury and Hawthorn. The school provides education from ELC to Year 12. Both boys and girls are catered for in the Early Learning Centre.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced engaging and qualified Drama and English Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time ongoing position starting from 13 July 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to best practices in teaching and a goal-oriented and evidence-based approach to improving student learning outcomes. We are looking for an individual who exhibits a learning disposition in relation to all aspects of this position striving for continuous improvement in addition to bringing the required skills and experience.

What were looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Experience working in a similar position
  • Teaching experience with Years 7-10 is essential
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to support and interact with a range of stakeholders including students parents staff and the wider school community
  • Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team with a high level of professionalism
  • Competent in the use of technology
  • Supportive of the values and teachings of the Christian tradition
