Are you a technically strong commercially astute CA(SA) ready to step into a high-impact leadership role We are seeking an exceptional Group Financial Executive to take ownership of group-wide financial reporting governance and strategic finance initiatives within a dynamic and evolving organisation. This is more than a reporting role its an opportunity to partner with senior leadership influence decision-making at a Board level and play a key role in shaping the financial future of the business.

As the Group Financial Executive you will operate at the heart of the organisations financial ecosystem:
- Take full ownership of Group financial reporting ensuring the integrity of the general ledger management accounts balance sheets cash flow budgets and forecasts
- Drive IFRS compliance acting as the Groups technical accounting expert and advisor
- Lead and enhance the monthly reporting process ensuring accuracy completeness and timeliness
- Partner closely with divisional and subsidiary finance teams to ensure alignment and reporting excellence
- Oversee Board Audit Committee and Sub-Committee reporting packs ensuring high-quality and timely submissions
- Play a key role in SENS announcements investor engagement and analyst queries
- Act as the primary liaison for external auditors managing interim and year-end audit processes
- Lead financial input into corporate actions including acquisitions disposals restructures and purchase price allocations
- Support Group Treasury with cash flow forecasting dividends planning and capital management
- Oversee compliance with JSE and regulatory reporting requirements
- Drive automation system improvements and process optimisation across Group Finance
- Contribute to integrated reporting and ESG initiatives including social & ethics responsibilities
- Maintain governance frameworks such as limits of authority
- Lead mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
- Act as a trusted deputy to the Group Financial Director
What Were Looking For:
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- Minimum 10 years post-articles experience with strong exposure to Group Finance
- Deep technical expertise in IFRS and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Sage X3 Finnivo or similar ERP/reporting systems
- Proven ability to operate at a strategic and operational level
- Strong commercial acumen and a holistic understanding of finance functions
- Exceptional attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Excellent communication influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex environments
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement
