Job Summary
Rome Health is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician to join our team. This role ensures surgical instruments devices and equipment are decontaminated sterilized prepared and packaged for safe patient care. We provide a supportive environment and will train the right candidate to succeed even if certification is not yet obtained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate sterilize and prepare surgical instruments devices and equipment
- Inspect assemble and package instruments following established safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in flexible scheduling including on-call rotating weekends nights and holidays
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols consistently
- Reliable flexible and able to work overtime as needed
- Commitment to safety and patient care
- Willing to obtain Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD
