PACCAR Financial Services provides finance lease and insurance services to dealers and customers in 15 countries including a portfolio of more than 150000 trucks and trailers and total assets in excess of $9 billion. The group includes PACCAR Leasing a major full-service truck leasing company in North America with a fleet of over 25000 vehicles.

Requisition Summary

Responsible for the day to day operations of the PACCAR Financial Used Truck location and re-marketing of PACCAR in the development and implementation of the companys used equipment sales plan and supporting policies and procedures; responsible for establishing values and managing with the dealerships customers and area offices coordinating inspections and appraisals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Sell Paccar Financial Used Trucks to end customers aiming to maximize resale values
• Identify prospective customers and develop strategies to achieve sales goals
• Prospect for sales opportunities via telephone direct contact and digital media
• Call on prospective customers and manage assigned accounts within the territory
• Identify finance opportunities with each customer
• Maintain regular contact with customers to understand their requirements and stay current on market trends
• Update the customer management system for the used truck center
• Check in trucks assigned to the used truck center
• Inspect and appraise the condition of used trucks proposed for trade
• Update and maintain advertising platforms; assist with design and submission
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support the used truck centers goals

Qualifications and Skills

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 5 years experience in sales of cars trucks equipment hardware or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management abilities

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Experience in financing and/or lending
• Knowledge of the US used truck market (regional and national)
• Multi-lingual skills

Education / Training

• Bachelors Degree preferred
