Position Purpose
The purpose of the job is to support the entire employee life cycle and assist employees and managers in their daily work in terms of Payroll HR Compliance & Governance HR Operations Support Data/system Management.
Job Responsibilities
Payroll
- Administer payroll for employees interns and contractors accurate and on time.
- Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll-related matters.
- Final payment severance package and other cost calculation and preparation as per request.
HR Compliance & Governance
- Legislation savvy to support HR decision making.
- Convert external best practice to enrich internal playbook.
- Support HR Manager Operations Greater China Offices & Regional Compensation & Benefits Analyst on Internal/external audit.
HR Operations support
- Responsible for employe life cycle including employee onboarding probation process and Labor Contract Renewal process.
- Responsible for working with vendor on completing background check report for the employees and payment process.
- Responsible for employee certificate preparation and issue the hardcopy for employees.
- Digitalization and AI implementation in HR operation
- P-file management.
Data /System Management
- Work as the system admin for i-super leave system including employee account management annual leave/carryover entitlement calculation and set up in system annual leave reminder preparation and any other system support as per request.
- Work as system admin for EC new hire termination & employee movement.
- Responsible for HR Operations related TA system operationMyCareer
- GC employee Hub management.
Other support
- Project or other support as per required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements (To include education and experience)
- Bachelor degree
- At least 2-3 years relevant work experience in HR function prefer payroll management or HR operation experience and deep understanding of labor law and regulation.
- Good judgement capability on job function utilizing good common sense.
- Self-motivated to operate independently and also as part of a team.
- Familiar with basic applications including Outlooks PowerPoint Words and Excel. Tech savvy preferred including Power BI Power automation etc.
- Good English capability in both verbal and writing.
- Effective communication presentation and written skills.
- Passionate to learn open-minded and highly proactive.
