Are you ready to shape the future of Cloud Data and Technological Sovereignty and AI At the forefront of Europes digital transformation we are looking for an inspiring and Government Affairs Manager (m/f) for the EU who thrives in a fastmoving technologydriven environment.

In this pivotal position you will be joining forces behind our government affairs strategy in Brussels supporting business growth and mitigating policy risk. You will champion the companys vision across the political and regulatory landscape - bridging innovation and governance in Europe. The Government Affairs Manager for EU will be responsible for building and expanding SAP interaction with European officials regulators partners and any stakeholders relevant to delivering the government affairs objectives.

Your mission: promote SAP digital financial and tax policy agenda in the EU and enable public sector cloud adoption and digital sovereignty promote responsible Cloud and AI and strengthen digital competitiveness in the European Union.

Policy and Stakeholder Engagement

• Anticipate and identify policies and regulations that can impact the company advocate for technology and industry-supportive policies and regulations.
• Influence key EU policy files regarding Digital Financial or tax policies and advocate for public policy that supports the SAP business model supporting growth and reducing political and regulatory risk
• Build trusted relationships with institutions regulators parliamentary bodies and digitalindustry coalitions
• Position our sovereign Cloud AI and software solutions at the center of national digital policies.
• Monitor politically influenced business risks and provide analyses to internal stakeholders for action.
• Position SAP as an innovation partner and technology leader through content development and targeted outreach to stakeholder groups.
• Grow maintain and leverage institutional and stakeholder networks.
• Represent the company in highstakes conversations on Digital financial and/or tax topics
• Provide SAP internal clients with expert content and guidance for reaching and influencing key audiences within the public sector and strategic decision-making.

Business Support

• Actively position SAP innovations and solutions in the public sector and key industries via engagement with stakeholders
• Anticipate political and social developments that create value for the brand and translate them into actionable opportunities for the business
• Support digital transformation agendas including cloud sovereign cloud and AI adoption focused on the public sector by positioning SAP in agenda-setting phases. Advise internal organizations on properly navigating governmental structures and how policy may impact business units throughout the go-to-market cycles as well as via their business operations.
• Coordinate with relevant internal organizations to help shape build and executive effective development strategies within the public sector.
• Help mobilizingpublic funding for SAP business in the region.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in government relations public affairs law political advisory or regulatory strategy - preferably within the tech or cloud ecosystem.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and advocate effectively on behalf of large complex organizations.
• Deep expertise in EU political regulatory financial and tax policy and digitalpolicy environment.
• Strong credibility with senior policymakers and industry leaders.
• Good political analytical and communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to simplify complex issues influence at the highest levels and drive alignment across stakeholders.
• Passion for cloud innovation digital transformation and responsible technology.
• Fluency in English. Ability to speak another EU language would be a strong plus
