Joining our Development team and in support of philanthropic giving youll work to assist our community of donors and increase our organizations financial strength. Member Services Specialists provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls replying to email inquiries and researching and responding to questions and comments. Also working with our fundraising database this position creates updates and verifies membership information and processes posts and reconciles member pledges and payments.
The successful candidate is excited to connect with people works well both in a team environment and independently and demonstrates a commitment to the mission-driven values of public broadcasting.
Job Requirements: Experience in customer service and support phone skills and excellent listening and multitasking skills. Experience with databases; Word and Excel proficiency required. Excellent communication skills. Bachelors degree and/or 3 years work experience in fundraising or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. A valid drivers license and travel to other Maine Public facilities is required.
Hybrid Work Schedule: This position is based in our Bangor or Portland Maine office and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after an orientation and training period. The training period will include regular travel to our Bangor offices. Hybrid work schedules require 3 days per week in the office and attendance at on-site meetings.
