SAP PSCD Functional Consultant

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP PSCD Functional Consultant to support the delivery and enhancement of SAP Tax and Revenue Management solutions within a large-scale public sector environment. This role involves working on complex high-impact projects leveraging deep functional expertise in SAP PSCD and TRM to design configure and implement effective solutions. The position requires strong consulting capabilities hands-on system knowledge and the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders across the full project lifecycle.

What you will do:

• Lead or support delivery of end-to-end SAP PSCD solutions across project lifecycles.
• Facilitate and lead workshops with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Design functional solutions aligned to SAP PSCD and TRM capabilities.
• Produce detailed design documentation including blueprints and functional specifications.
• Configure SAP PSCD and related modules to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Support development teams during build phases to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Conduct initial testing and support test teams to validate solutions effectively.
• Ensure successful deployment of solutions into live environments with appropriate handover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage integration points with other SAP modules.
• Provide guidance on best practices and solution optimization within SAP environments.
• Support issue resolution incident management and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain documentation in line with established standards and methodologies.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in SAP Public Sector Collections and Disbursement or equivalent FI-CA industry experience such as Utilities Telecommunications Insurance or SAP BRIM.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Tax and Revenue Management solutions.
• Experience delivering at least one full project lifecycle implementation within SAP FI-CA.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or implementing SAP solutions within the public sector.
• Strong understanding of UK statutory financial accounting and reporting requirements and management accounting principles.
• Experience working with integration points across SAP modules.
• Excellent consulting and client-facing skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving incident management and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in testing processes and documentation standards and methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Accountancy qualifications are advantageous.
