As the Chief Engineer youre the backbone of our building ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork. From technical systems to preventive maintenance from energy efficiency to team leadership you keep the hotel operating at its best. Your work allows our teams to deliver seamless service and our guests to enjoy a safe comfortable and memorable stay.

This is your daily contribution to an exceptional guest experience

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems HVAC electrical plumbing and mechanical;
• Lead schedule and support the engineering team ensuring effective coverage and high standards of work;
• Manage and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment guest rooms and public areas;
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests or emergencies minimising disruption to operations and guests;
• Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs and ensure seamless service delivery;
• Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards as well as legal and brand requirements;
• Manage contractors service providers and external inspections ensuring quality and timely work;
• Monitor and optimise energy use utilities and maintenance budgets;
• Keep detailed maintenance records and assist with capital planning and project implementation;
• Train your team on safety emergency procedures and best practices.

Qualifications :

Were looking for someone who brings both technical skill and creative spark

• You have solid technical knowledge and previous experience in a senior engineering/maintenance role ideally within the hotel industry;
• Youre confident managing a team and setting high standards for safety quality and service;
• Youre skilled in troubleshooting and quick thinking always ready with a plan B;
• Youre organised calm under pressure and happy to be on call when needed;
• You know your way around building systems and maintenance tools and you understand the importance of documentation and compliance;
• Youre committed to keeping the hotel running smoothly so every guest has a great experience.
