Job Summary
Job Purpose
Monitoring and executing flax spinning in the Ring Frame section in plant 4 to achieve targeted production within set norms of quality & cost to give timely delivery of quality products.
Job Context & Major Challenges
To ensure 96% Utilisation in ring frame
Improve recovery % with reducing waste % at Ring Frame section.
To deliver product just in time & ensure desired quality for customer
To control color variation in final yarn below 3%

| KRA1 | Target spinning production and utilization | Monitoring & control ends down and idle spindle and improve doff weight Maintain end breakage rate within specified limit as per Statistical Quality Control norms Maintain and operate Ring Frame as per PARTA norms Monitoring the waste shift wise and taking corrective action accordingly. |
| KRA2 | Maintain quality of spun yarn | Plan and monitor the bobbin color scheme at the Ring frame. Lot wise segregation of doffs to avoid mix up. Monitor the cleanliness of Ring frames as per SOP. Plan and monitor ring traveler change periodically. |
| KRA3 | Cost Control | Controlling the hard waste shift wise m/c wise and acting accordingly. Co-ordinating with spinning to reduce ends down and improve doff weight. Maintaining targeted. Cycle/splice after study the cuts reasons. Manpower planning to attain wage optimization and reduce OT hands. |
| KRA4 | Business Excellence | Creating a culture of innovation in the shop floor among the workmen through on the job training Enabling regular Kaizen submission and feedback Maintaining proper housekeeping by 5S Taking part in WCM activities as required |
| KRA5 | Safety and Sustainability | Ensure all work is carried out in the standard of safety. Ensure the controlling of wastage and optimum utilization of man material and machine. |
