Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

As theCustomer Portfolio Manageryou will:

  • Serve as a local liaison between internal/external organizations and your assigned customer(s) located in Jackson MSUSA.
  • Own the customer relationship and contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.
  • Develop and own site customer communication plan coordinate and facilitate regular GE Vernova/Customer meetings reviewing open items action plans and reviewexisting and new GE Vernova products/servicesthat could provide value for the customer.
  • OverseeGas Power warrantyand applicable commercial considerations including concessions as they arise balancing mutual benefits.
  • Be responsible foroutage/non-outage parts planningincluding requests for quotes providing quotes to customers placing/managing parts orders through delivery and invoicing for parts as applicable.
  • Be responsible formanaging the Outage planning and executionprocess and processing of Change Orders.
  • Be responsible for customer invoicing collections and support GE Vernova internal financial operating metrics.
  • Act as the Customer Advocate within the GE Vernova organization.
  • Provide leadership in owning and driving all emergent/forced outage matters to resolution.
  • Manage safe outage planning and execution mindful of our GE Vernova Life Saving Rules.
  • Accountable for the wing-to-wing outage execution via organizing pre-outage post-outage and outage milestone meetings to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Own contract leadership and fulfillment including all project deliverables and understanding theT&Cs and contract requirementssuch as LD & Bonus structure
  • Responsible for contract performance related activities typically tied to a customer site. Perform in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team managing the transfer of information and requests.
  • Assure timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising. Responsible for adherence to contract service operations and performance specifications as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract. Perform proposal negotiation and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision Provide support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters
  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational product management manufacturing technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements risk and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and at times will have to use influencing skills to help others understand points of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited University or College; associates degree with 7 years of experience in the power generation industry or a High School Diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in the power generation industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience within the power plant field services and/or Outage Management within the Power/Energy Industry
  • This role is offered within the greaterMadison Ridgeland Jackson MS area.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $119600.00 and $199400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
