Electrical Manager
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning execution and completion of electrical works for data centre construction projects.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Develop and monitor project schedules budgets and resource planning for electrical scope.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the design review installation and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution switchgear transformers generators UPS systems and backup power systems.
- Ensure electrical systems meet data centre reliability and redundancy requirements.
- Review electrical drawings specifications and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal design teams consultants and BIM teams to ensure electrical design aligns with construction requirements.
- Resolve technical issues related to electrical systems and ensure constructability.
- Ensure all electrical installations follow approved shop drawings and project specifications
- Ensure electrical works comply with Singapore regulations including EMA BCA SCDF and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
- Enforce strict adherence to site safety procedures and company HSE policies.
- Participate in safety reviews audits and incident investigations
- Liaise with clients consultants authorities and internal teams on electrical project matters.
- Provide regular progress updates technical reports and project status updates to senior management and clients.
- Support authority submissions and inspections where required
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years experience in electrical engineering or project management within the construction industry
- Experience managing large-scale electrical systems projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical power infrastructure including MV/LV systems generators UPS and critical power systems.
