The Auto Technician will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining advanced vehicle electrical and electronic systems including installations of aftermarket accessories on vehicles and RVs
High School Diploma or GED (minimum)
Minimum 35 years of experience in an auto electrical workshop
Prior experience in racing or off-road suspension workshop is a strong advantage
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical and electronic systems
Troubleshoot faults in wiring sensors ECUs starters alternators lighting and battery systems
Perform diagnostics using computerized diagnostic tools and scanners
Repair and replace damaged wiring connectors fuses and electrical components
Install aftermarket accessories on vehicles/RVs including but not limited to:
Dual Battery System Air Compressor Switch Pod Towing System Wiring Inverter Auxiliary Lights Camera and Radio Systems
Supervise and guide junior auto electricians and technicians
Ensure jobs are completed within standard time and quality requirements
Conduct final inspections and road tests after electrical repairs
Maintain accurate job cards service reports and diagnostic records
Follow workshop safety standards and company policies
Stay updated on new automotive electrical technologies
