Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / MEP Coordinator Job Summary:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing servicing maintaining and repairing air conditioning and ventilation systems including split AC units package units ducted systems and related cooling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install inspect service and repair HVAC systems.
Diagnose AC cooling issues gas leaks compressor faults electrical faults and drainage problems.
Perform preventive maintenance including coil cleaning filter cleaning gas checking and general inspection.
Repair or replace faulty parts such as capacitors motors compressors thermostats and sensors.
Check refrigerant levels and perform gas charging when required.
Ensure AC units are operating efficiently and safely.
Prepare material and spare part requests.
Maintain tools and HVAC equipment properly.
Follow safety procedures while working with electrical and refrigerant systems.
Provide clear updates to the supervisor after each job. Requirements:
Previous experience as an HVAC technician.
Strong knowledge of split AC ducted AC and basic ventilation systems.
Ability to troubleshoot cooling and electrical issues.
Knowledge of refrigerant handling is preferred.
Ability to work on ladders and in outdoor conditions.
