About the Opportunity
Our client is a growing and ambitious organisation operating across FMCG manufacturing and construction seeking a commercially driven Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale end-to-end operations. The role will be based at their Lagos offices and will require in-person attendance.
This is a critical leadership role focused on driving operational efficiency strengthening manufacturing and supply chain performance ensuring regulatory compliance and building high-performing teams in a complex fast-paced environment.

- Translate corporate strategy into actionable plans and KPIs
- Provide leadership across manufacturing supply chain logistics and support functions
- Drive operational scalability to support business growth
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
- Oversee factory operations to ensure efficiency safety and cost control
- Lead production planning inventory management and order fulfilment
- Improve capacity utilisation and operational throughput
- Ensure alignment across procurement production and distribution
Quality Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC SON and relevant regulatory bodies
- Enforce GMP quality assurance and safety standards
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
Performance & Cost Management
- Define and monitor operational KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Reduce waste and optimise cost structures
- Lead budgeting and operational resource planning
People & Culture
- Build and lead high-performing teams
- Drive accountability safety and a continuous improvement culture
- Support leadership development and succession planning
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with the CEO/MD CFO Sales and HR leadership
- Support business expansion and new product initiatives
- Manage relationships with vendors partners and regulators
