Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks Spark)
Amsterdam Netherlands Start Date: May 8 2026 Contract: 6 Months
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join GET (Gall & Etos Tech)a platform-driven innovative organization delivering impactful data solutions.
Role Overview
In this role you will focus on data management and engineering ensuring data is efficiently stored organized and made accessible for business use. Your expertise will help transform raw data into meaningful insights for end-users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Manage data ingestion transformation storage and retrieval from multiple sources
- Work with cross-functional teams (engineers & analysts) to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Optimize data workflows for performance scalability and reliability
- Ensure data is structured and presented effectively for analytics and business consumption
- Contribute to innovation within a modern platform-based data environment
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Management
- Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Apache Spark
- Databricks
- Azure Data Factory
- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data architecture
- Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems
