This role is responsible for the day-to-day stability administration and operational support of the UiPath Automation Cloud platform and the underlying on-prem infrastructure supporting unattended automation.
This is not a primary automation developer role. The purpose of the role is to provide strong platform infrastructure and operational ownership within the RPA Center of Excellence (COE) enabling solution developers to focus on delivery while ensuring the UiPath environment remains secure scalable compliant and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
1. RPA Infrastructure & VM Management (On-Prem)
Own and manage Windows servers hosting unattended UiPath robots
Perform VM lifecycle management: build patching hardening upgrades and decommissioning
Monitor and manage robot capacity performance and availability
Troubleshoot OS-level connectivity authentication and execution issues
Coordinate with central Windows / Infrastructure / Security teams on patches and policy changes
Ensure servers comply with enterprise security and hardening standards
Organization- and tenant-level administration within UiPath Automation Cloud
User group and role management aligned with COE and federated operating models
UiPath license administration and optimization including group-based allocation
Tenant environment and platform configuration aligned to governance standards
Monitoring overall platform health and responding to platform-level incidents
Manage unattended robot accounts machines and runtimes
Maintain folder structures permissions models and access control
Operational support for deployments schedules queues assets and credentials
First-level investigation of job failures and runtime issues prior to escalation
Front-line operational support for selected automations owned by the COE
Incident triage root cause analysis and resolution of recurring issues
Collaboration with UiPath developers when code changes or fixes are required
Execution and maintenance of operational runbooks and support documentation
Not a full-time automation developer role
Not responsible for designing new business processes
Not the owner of large-scale solution architecture decisions
Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Automation Cloud and Orchestrator administration
Solid Windows Server and VM infrastructure background
Familiarity with enterprise security and access control models
Experience with monitoring capacity planning or runbook-driven operations
Previous contractor experience in platform or production support roles
