About the role:
We are looking for an Academic Manager & City Manager to lead both academic strategy and on-ground program execution for secondary school programs (Grades 6-12). This dual-role position combines curriculum leadership pedagogical excellence and city-level program management. The incumbent will drive curriculum design teacher development and assessments across Mathematics English and Spoken English while ensuring seamless implementation across partner schools in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design & Academic Leadership
Develop and refine comprehensive curriculum plans for Mathematics English Literature and Spoken English.
Review and strengthen lesson plans assessments and teaching-learning materials in collaboration with subject experts.
Integrate blended learning approaches and digital tools to enhance classroom engagement.
Operations & Implementation
Lead and manage School Representatives and Resource Persons across partner schools in Mumbai.
Ensure operational excellence including attendance tracking scheduling and resource deployment.
Conduct regular academic audits to ensure quality curriculum delivery and learning outcomes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with school principals and stakeholders.
Oversee the full lifecycle of field teams including hiring onboarding and performance management.
Design and deliver teacher training sessions on pedagogy classroom management and subject expertise.
Monitoring Evaluation & Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with teams to track program effectiveness and track student outcome KPIs.
Design and implement baseline diagnostic and summative assessments.
Analyze data to identify learning gaps and drive remedial or enrichment interventions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 6-8 years in the education sector with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Education: Masters degree in Education () English Mathematics or a related field.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in secondary-level Mathematics and English pedagogy and curriculum design.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams across multi-school environments.
Skills: Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and excellent stakeholder management abilities.
