Job Summary

We currently have acontract role as a Senior Network Security Engineer with our large consulting client on a long term project with a major financial services client in the downtown Montreal area.
Role: Senior Network Security Engineer
Type: Fulltime Perm
Location: Downtown Montreal QC - Hybrid (roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite 2 days from home)
Salary: $85000 - $95 000 bonus 3 weeks paid vacation RRSP contribution benefits sick/personal days
Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Operate and support network security infrastructure including firewalls web proxies VPN gateways and load balancers
- Lead and deliver network security projects
- Provide oncall support
Profile
Requirements
- CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
- Palo Alto Fortinet or Check Point certifications
- CISSP or equivalent security certification
- Bilingual (English and French)
Nice to have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or Network Engineering
- 10 years of experience in network and network security engineering including operational support and project delivery
- IT service management certifications (e.g. ITIL)
