Job Summary

Tech Talent International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.

We currently have acontract role as a Senior Network Security Engineer with our large consulting client on a long term project with a major financial services client in the downtown Montreal area.

Role: Senior Network Security Engineer

Type: Fulltime Perm

Location: Downtown Montreal QC - Hybrid (roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite 2 days from home)

Salary: $85000 - $95 000 bonus 3 weeks paid vacation RRSP contribution benefits sick/personal days

Position Overview

Responsibilities

Operate and support network security infrastructure including firewalls web proxies VPN gateways and load balancers
Lead and deliver network security projects
Provide oncall support

Profile

Requirements

CCNP or CCIE (Security or Enterprise)
Palo Alto Fortinet or Check Point certifications
CISSP or equivalent security certification
Bilingual (English and French)

Nice to have

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or Network Engineering
10 years of experience in network and network security engineering including operational support and project delivery
IT service management certifications (e.g. ITIL)
