Division

You will be joining the Enterprise Architecture (EA) division at Euroclear a leading post-trade financial market infrastructure.

The EA division is an experienced and multi-disciplinary group of architects responsible for:

  • Defining the enterprise architecture directions & standards aligned to the company strategies & goals;
  • Defining the investment themes to develop or transform the IT capabilities supporting the business units strategies;
  • Maintaining a multi-year strategic investment plan & technology roadmap and advising on IT investment decisions;
  • Steering the definition & realisation of capabilities and solutions to support business objectives (process applications data and technology) in alignment with the enterprise architecture directions.

Role

You will be joining our Corporate Capabilities squad in charge of managing the architecture for Corporate Functions (e.g. Finance Risk Legal HR). In this role you will take a primary architecture focus on Compliance Risk Management & Audit capabilities and the supporting technology landscape. As an Enterprise Architect you will guide the implementation of our Corporate & IT Strategy and IT transformation for this area.

You will deliver and contribute to the following architectural services:

  • Own and evolve the target architecture (from current-state landscape to transition roadmap) for Compliance Risk Management & Audit capabilities (process application data and technology) aligned with corporate strategy regulatory obligations and internal policies.
  • Partner with Compliance Risk Audit and Security stakeholders to translate control requirements into actionable roadmaps and delivery priorities balancing risk cost and delivery constraints.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability between regulatory / policy requirements risks controls and supporting systems.
  • Shape and govern solutions related to GRC platforms (including ServiceNow GRC) Financial Crime Management platforms Audit Management tooling including reporting integration and data quality considerations.
  • Guide delivery teams by providing architecture decisions principles and guardrails.
  • Contribute to enterprise architecture governance (reviews standards and patterns) and share learnings to continuously improve the architecture practice.

Profile

  • Degree in business IT engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of business and technology operating models strategic planning cost-benefit analysis agile frameworks and/or IT service delivery.
  • Clear and respectful communicator who collaborates effectively and builds good relationships with diverse stakeholders. You can adapt your messages and style to different audiences and seniority. Fluency in English is required.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of business and technology operating models strategic planning and cost-benefit analysis security and risk management information and data management systems development methodologies and agile principles and frameworks and/or IT service delivery infrastructure and operations.
  • Able to balance out the longer term and short-term views and implications of different options and paths of action.
  • Self-motivated eager to learn and you have a proactive working approach. Leveraging AI to support your day to day work would be a plus.
  • Experience in enterprise and solution architecture software development business analysis or relatedareas within a Regulated Environment (Financial Industry Insurance).
  • You are certified in an Enterprise Architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF) and are familiar with Enterprise Architecture tools considered as an advantage.
