Job Description

As a member of the Program Management - PPAP team the PPAP Quality Engineer will be responsible forcoordinating supplier and verifying quality standards in accordance with requirements of the organization and the customer.

Responsibilities

Executing PPAP Process for components and assemblies on the given time frame and milestones
Coordination and steering of supplier PPAP submissions in terms of documentation and hardware.
Ensuring the quality of submitted documentation by reviewing and analyzing it in detail.
Effective communication to Customer Quality responsible to align requirements and milestones.
Upload PPAP submissions in customer systems.
Internal and external reporting of status and KPIs

Qualifications

SQMS/ PIA Mercedes-Benz experience
2 5 years experience in automotive industry
Knowledge of auditing processes like VDA6.3 / AIAG
Structured problem-solving mindset
Bachelors degree in a related field

Languages

English

Bonus if you speak Spanish and/or German
