Network Waitaki is looking for a Project Administrator to support our Network Standards Refresh Project in Oamaru.


This is a great opportunity to work across the business on a meaningful project that will improve how our teams operate day to day.


Youll play a key role in administrating project activity improving documentation and supporting the rollout of updated standards across the organisation.


About the role

As Project Administrator youll support the planning coordination and delivery of the Network Standards Refresh Project. Your work will help ensure our standards are clear consistent and practical for the teams who use them.


Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities timelines and stakeholder inputs
  • Track progress and provide clear status updates
  • Support the review and update of standards and documentation
  • Rewrite and improve documents to be clear and easy to use
  • Engage with teams to gather feedback and support adoption
  • Assist with workshops training materials and rollout activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation and processes
  • Embed health and safety considerations in all work


About you

Youll be highly organised peoplefocused and comfortable working across a range of teams. You enjoy bringing structure to work and helping others adopt improved ways of doing things.


Youll ideally bring:

  • Experience in an administrative coordination or project support role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with both technical and operational teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft 365 skills (Word Excel Outlook Teams)


Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience supporting projects or change initiatives
  • Experience improving or working with documentation or procedures
  • Exposure to electricity networks engineering infrastructure or other utilities environments
  • Experience supporting training workshops or user guidance
