Key Responsibilities

Operate rubber-tired or crawler tractors equipped with front-end scoop buckets safely and efficiently.

Excavate and load materials from pit sites stockpiles and batch plants; load trucks as needed.

Maintain a vigilant approach to workplace safety for yourself and your team.

Lift materials weighing up to 50100 pounds unassisted whenrequired.

Communicate clearly with co-workers using hand signals andmaintainingeye contact especially when maneuvering equipment in shared workspaces.

Adhere strictly to company policies and all OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe work practices.

Follow direction from the Foremanregardingdaily tasks and project expectations.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor servicing; escalatemajor issuesto the Foreman.

Complete daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections documenting findings according to company guidelines.

Assistin training less experienced team members on equipment operation service and repair.

Perform general labor duties asrequiredto support site operations.

Physical&WorkEnvironmentRequirements

Frequently required to climb balance and perform tasks involvingphysicalagility.

Regularly sit climb and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand walk crawl kneel bend stoop crouch or reach above shoulder height.

Lift and move objects weighing up needed.

Workprimarily outdoors often in extreme weather andenvironmental conditions.

Comfortableworking in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery high places airborne particles and loudenvironments.

Must have specific vision abilities including close distance color peripheral and depth perception tooperateequipment safely.

Reasonable accommodationsprovided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GEDrequired.

Previousexperience or training in construction or related field preferred.
