The Human Resources Officer is a key operational role within the School responsible for the delivery of high-quality contemporary HR services across the full employee lifecycle. Working in close partnership with senior leaders and external advisors this role ensures that HR practices are compliant consistent and aligned with the Schools values and strategic priorities.

- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain high-quality staff
- Provide trusted first-line advice to leaders on day-to-day people matters
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation industrial instruments and child protection requirements
- Maintain accurate HR records systems and compliance registers with a high level of integrity
- Support performance probation and employee relations processes with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate mandatory training reporting and HR administration requirements
- Contribute to staff wellbeing initiatives and the continued development of a positive inclusive workplace culture
You have:
- Proven experience in a similar HR role (ideally within a complex or values-driven environment)
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation Awards and Enterprise Agreements
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion
- The ability to build strong trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Experience with HR systems (e.g. Martian Logic) and Google Workspace
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) and a current Blue Card
