Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Visual Arts Teacher to join our College community on a full time fixed term basis.
The role is a leave replacement position for Term 3 2026.
Reporting to the Head of Learning - Visual Arts this role will be responsible for teaching Art Creative Practice Textiles and Visual Arts subjects across Years 8 to 11 in a collaborative and progressive environment. You will work alongside committed educators who value high-quality teaching practice and continuous professional growth and enjoy access to modern teaching spaces and resources.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education.
- Current VIT Registration.
- A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Visual Arts).
- Previous experience teaching Visual Arts (including Textiles) subjects across Years 8 to 11.
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
- Well-developed classroom management strategies which enhance student engagement and outcomes.
- Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
- Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
