AI Developer (Insurance)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack AI Developer for an insurance provider client based in Zurich.

The client is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack AI Developer with strong expertise in both modern software engineering and AI-based application development.

• Develop and implement AI-based applications within the insurance environment

• Build scalable full-stack web applications

• Integrate AI machine learning GenAI or LLM components into existing systems

• Design and develop backend services APIs and system integrations

• Develop modern frontend components and user interfaces

• Collaborate with business stakeholders IT architecture and project teams

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Ensure code quality testing documentation and maintainability

• Support the development of prototypes MVPs and production-ready AI solutions

• Several years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer

• Strong backend development skills ideally with Python Java or similar technologies

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React Angular or

• Hands-on experience with AI ML GenAI or LLM-based applications

• Experience in API development and system integration

• Good knowledge of cloud environments ideally Azure AWS or GCP

• Experience with data integration data processing and interfaces

• Solid understanding of software architecture security and enterprise environments

• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance banking or consulting is an advantage

• Independent structured and solution-oriented working style

• Experience with Azure OpenAI OpenAI API LangChain RAG or agentic AI frameworks (nice-to-have)

• Knowledge of DevOps CI/CD Docker or Kubernetes (nice-to-have)

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (nice-to-have)

• Experience in the insurance industry (nice-to-have)

• Experience working in agile project environments (nice-to-have)

• English: very good

• German: advantageous
