Registered Nurse (MedSurg / Telemetry) Travel Assignment Atlanta GA
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at a well-known healthcare facility in Atlanta Georgia.
Assignment DetailsLocation: Atlanta GA 30303
Unit: 5A Surgical ACE (32-bed unit)
Duration: 8 weeks (May 18 July 11 2026)
Shift: 12-hour Nights
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
On-call: None
Patient Ratio: 1:5
This role is ideal for nurses experienced in MedSurg/Telemetry with exposure to high-acuity adult and geriatric patients.

- Provide care to adult and older adult patients in a 32-bed unit
- Manage trauma cases heparin drips and acute medications
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to care protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
- Active RN license
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Completed and documented skills checklist
- No RTO (Request Time Off) allowed
- Experience in Skilled Nursing / Rehab settings
- Prior NICHE training (geriatric-focused care)
- Familiarity with specialty equipment (gait belts geriatric chairs PT equipment)
