Title: Materials Planner - 5 Openings
Location: On-site at San Antonio TX
Duration: 12 Months
Hours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM with lunch /Monday-Thursday (We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10s Monday -Thursday)

Description: - The plant is making some changes to the schedules effective this week.
- It is required that consultants wear steel-toed shoes all day long.
- No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
- Work within a material planning team at San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.
- Plans schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
- Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing production and engineering.
- Develops specifications for new contract orders.
- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and no experience
- OR
- At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
