Pet Care Technician Boarding Assistant

About the Role
We are looking for reliable hardworking individuals who love animals and are ready to be part of a fast-paced veterinary boarding team. This role is perfect for high school students looking for responsibility and real-world experience or for individuals returning to the workforce who want meaningful hands-on work.

This is not a desk job. It is physically active and requires cleaning attention to detail and a strong sense of return you will gain experience working with animals develop independence and be part of a supportive team.

What Youll Do

• Care for dogs and cats staying in our boarding facility
• Clean kennels cages and hospital areas thoroughly (yesthis includes cleaning waste)
• Feed walk and monitor pets throughout the day
• Observe animal behavior and report any concerns to the medical team
• Do laundry (towels bedding) and maintain a clean environment
• Assist with bathing and basic grooming when needed
• Help prepare pets for pickup so they go home clean and happy
• Support the team with daily tasks to keep the hospital running smoothly

Physical Requirements

• Standing walking bending and lifting throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with larger dogs
• Comfortable working around animals noise odors and cleaning chemicals

Important Note
This job involves cleaning cages handling animal waste and working in a physically active environment. It is rewarding but it is also hard work. We are looking for people who take pride in doing essential work well.
