In this role you will be working as a Sr. Controls Engineer for a client that works in the power distribution industry. This position will be responsible for design application and execution of low and medium voltage switchgear systems for mission critical power applications.
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Pay; 150000/Yr. depending on experience.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Eletrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience doing design of switchgear control systems for low and medium voltage applications (480V to 38kV)
- Background with critical power systems data centers or industrial power distribution
- Understand PLCS - Siemens and Fanuc preferred
- Serve technical lead during Factory Acceptace Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Lead commissioning activities including system validation and troubleshooting
- Provide tecnical support to manufacturing field service and project teams
- Adhere to project schedules
- Approximately 10-25% travel
