Solutions Architect Cloud Data Warehousing (GCP)

The Opportunity: 

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Cloud Data Warehousing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role will drive end-to-end data architecture enabling scalable secure and AI-ready data platforms that support advanced analytics and business decision-making.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

• Own and lead end-to-end solution architecture for data and analytics platforms
• Design scalable high-performance data solutions using GCP services
• Define data architecture standards best practices and governance frameworks
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Drive cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
• Ensure data quality security compliance and cost optimization
• Incorporate AI/ML capabilities to enable predictive and intelligent analytics
• Apply data mesh and domain-driven design principles to enable decentralized scalable data ownership
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

Data & Cloud

• Strong experience in Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake Medallion Data Vault)
• Hands-on expertise in GCP including: BigQuery Pub/Sub Cloud Storage Composer (Airflow) Dataflow/Dataproc.

Technical

• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with ETL/ELT data modeling and performance optimization
• Knowledge of batch & streaming architectures and API integrations

Architecture

• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture distributed systems and data security (IAM governance)
• Experience with modern data architecture patterns including data mesh and domain-driven architecture

AI & Analytics

• Understanding of AI/ML use cases in data platforms
• Familiarity with GCP AI tools (e.g. Vertex AI) and ML-ready data pipelines

Preferred Skills: 

• GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect)
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
• Exposure to BI tools (Tableau ThoughtSpot Power BI)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
