About the job:

At Alfa Laval we are seeking a Director of Sales for theSeparation Equipment Technologiesteam who will drive profitable growth for the Food &PharmaDivision by creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy in line with Alfa Lavals financial goals.This leadership roleis responsible foroverseeing all sales activities within theSeparation Equipment Technologiesbusiness to enhance customer satisfaction and market reach. The Director willsustaina high-performing sales team fostering a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement.

As a part of the team you will:

  • Define and implement the business strategy forSeparation EquipmentTechnologies inalignment with local Division strategy as well astheCentral Business Unitstrategy.

  • Develop and execute a robust business plan incorporating market analysis customer segmentationpricing and marketing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Oversee forecasting of sales and budgets andmonitorperformance against financial targetsidentifyingareas for improvement.

  • Lead the effective use of the CRM across the business unit ensuring data accuracy consistent adoption and disciplined pipeline management;analyzeCRM data to evaluate team performance forecast results and drive datainformed sales strategies.

  • Analyze sales and financial data to evaluate business performance identify trends and risks and drive informed commercial and strategic decisions; translate data insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and the sales organization.

  • Lead business development and sales activities including demand generation and pipeline management to drive market penetration and customer engagement.

  • Lead motivate and develop the sales team ensuring alignment withsales objectivesand adherence toestablishedsales processes particularly lead-to-quote conversions.

  • Partner closely with the marketing team to help define and implement strategies forthe Business Unit including customer and competitor analysis demand generation pricing strategy and market communications.

  • Lead change management to adapt to new market demands.

  • Review and approve contractual commitments per defined authorization procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you know:

You haveaBachelors degree in Business Engineering orarelated field and;

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in an industrial B2B environment with a proven record of driving change and delivering results.

  • Proventrack recordof using sales and financial analytics to drive business outcomes including forecasting performance management and strategic decisionmaking in a senior sales or commercial leadership role.

  • Experience developing and leading high performing teams.

  • Ability to develop and implement business strategy and drive through results.

  • Strong and effective communicator to stakeholders across different areas.

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

  • Mustpossessa valid drivers license.
