As a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking group youll provide clients with objective advice on all aspects of M&A and capital markets alternatives through highly focused industry teams with world class global execution capabilities. Youll be an important part of our highly experienced industry-focused team and work at the forefront of high-profile transactions.

Youll be working in a team environment with corporate finance and established investment banking professionals on a variety of projects with primarily responsibility for leading the MedTech sector coverage as part of a group with broad healthcare and life sciences coverage capabilities. Our team works to initiate and execute transactions on behalf of our clients that reflect their strategy and are supported by industry be responsible for delivering investment banking solutions M&A debt and equity transaction execution to the broad universe of companies in the MedTech and related sectors.

Your key responsibilities

As a Managing Director you will be a vital member of the team responsible for initiating and leading the execution of investment banking engagements in the MedTech sector. You will be responsible for covering the MedTech sectors and related subsectors with duties encompassing the origination and execution of both buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions as well as capital markets transactions. Your coverage will include private and public middle-market enterprises along with relevant private equity sponsors. Youll be able to leverage EYs extensive global reach and network of relationships and comprehensive capabilities to communicate the firms unique investment banking capabilities to the clients senior executives. You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of mid-level and junior members ensuring their career development.

Skills and attributes for success

• Advise companiesregardingM&Astrategicand corporate financetransactions.

• Supervise coach and mentor Senior Vice Presidents Vice Presidentsassociatesand analysts to prepare compelling pitch materials offering memoranda and related materials for M&A and capital raising mandates.

• Develop relationships withinvestors andstrategic participants in the sectorfor M&A and capital raising mandates.

• Perform extensive financial analysis valuationanalysisand pro forma financial modeling.

• Identifykey issues and potential areas of valuation and transaction risk within engagements.

• Performin-depth sector market and company-specific coverage.

• Contribute to recruiting and team development initiatives.

To qualify for theroleyou must have

• A bachelors degree and at least 10 years of directly related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related work experience.

• Extensive investment banking experience particularlyoriginatingand executing M&A transactions.

• Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing).

• Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior banking team representative able to manage all client deliverables.

• Strong experience with both originating transactions and leading a team in execution.

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop andmaintainrelationships at all levels of the organization.

• A proven record of excellence in investment banking specific tomergers acquisitions and capital marketsforMedTechand relatedsectors.

• Experience gained within another credible investment banking organization.

• Established networking skills in a relevant industry.

• The ability and willingness to travel and workin excess ofstandard hours when necessary.

• You must eitherresidein or beina commutable distance to your office location for this position.

Ideally youll also have

• Knowledge of how toleverageAI tools in a business setting including Microsoft Copilot.
