About the Role

Stellar Senior Living is a family-owned company that owns and operates senior living and skilled nursing communities across multiple states. Were hiring a full-time summer AI Intern to join the Stellar Resource Center in Midvale UT and were looking for a curious undergraduate to help us put practical AI tools to work in finance operations legal and HR. Youll spend time with the people who do the work collaborate with them to identify ways to elevate our services and build tools that ultimately enhance the service we render to residents.

This is a project-based role. You dont need to be the most experienced person in the room. You need to be curious a strong critical thinker and ready to translate real-world needs into AI-driven solutions.

What Youll Gain

What Youll Do

• Strategize with leaders in finance operations legal and HR to identify real-world bottlenecks process improvements and opportunities for efficiency
• Take on assigned AI projects and work alongside the team to build deliver and refine each tool
• Build with Claude custom skills and basic scripting in a secure sandbox environment
• Test what you build with the people wholl use it and iterate until it works
• Document and demo your work so it keeps running after you leave

You dont need to be a domain expert in any of these areas. Youll learn what you need from the people around you and build tools that help them succeed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate; any major welcome
• Youve used AI tools (Claude ChatGPT Copilot or similar) for real work. Class projects and personal projects count and you should be prepared to talk about how youve used AI tools in the past if youre interviewed
• Strong critical thinker; detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and genuinely interested in the AI field

Were hiring for independence critical thinking and interest in AI more than for prior experience. Bonus points for any scripting (Python JavaScript VBA Power Automate) but its not required.
