Salary: $68000-$72000
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm with some flexibility. This role is fully in person.
The Training & Development Business Partner DS/BI Residential Services is responsible for the creation and management of trainings within the Developmental and Brain Injury Residential Services divisions. They assess training needs and develop new trainings to meet the needs of the division.

Minimum Education Required
Responsibilities
- Develop implement and continuously improve training and professional development programs for Developmental Services and Brain Injury Residential Services.
- Assess organizational and operational training needs and create learning solutions that support staff growth and service excellence.
- Manage the service line training calendar coordinating facilitators locations topics and logistics for trainings and monthly management meetings.
- Facilitate engaging trainings independently and in partnership with Clinical Directors and operational leaders.
- Evaluate training effectiveness analyze outcomes and provide recommendations and reports to leadership.
- Meet regularly with the Vice President to review training initiatives emerging needs and future development priorities.
- Mentor managers direct support professionals and individuals supported who are interested in becoming trainers.
- Develop and submit workshop proposals for local and national conferences.
- Monitor training budgets and ensure responsible use of resources.
- Participate in divisional leadership meetings and contribute to organizational initiatives.
- Promote a culture of dignity respect inclusion and person-centered support consistent with Advocates Human Rights Policy and The Advocates Way.
- Participate in supervision staff meetings and ongoing professional development.
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with agency policies procedures and performance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Social Services or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in Developmental Services Brain Injury Services or a closely related human services field.
- Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills with experience designing and facilitating adult learning programs.
- Strong understanding of the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and brain injuries.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent communication organization project management and interpersonal skills.
- High energy initiative and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Valid drivers license and access to an insured reliable vehicle for travel between sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting culturally diverse individuals and teams and a demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices.
- Experience mentoring or coaching emerging leaders.
- Conference presentation or curriculum development experience is a plus.
